In 2020, I did not read a lot of books. Even though we were stuck at home, I did not get to finish a lot of stuff. I spent a lot of time watching tv in 2020. I finished a lot of anime’s and kdramas. Not gonna lie, I really enjoyed it but wanted to read more and watch tv less in 2021.
So in 2021, I have been reading a lot of books and I enjoyed quite a few of them. And I just wanted to share all those amazing books in this article.

- Atomic Habits:
This definitely has to be on top. This book talks about how to make habits that stick. It illustrates how our body reacts to new habits and how to make them natural for your body. This book does a great job of laying down the framework of how habits are formed, and shares insightful strategies for building good habits and breaking bad ones. Even though I was already familiar with research behind habit formation, reading through this book helped me approach habits I’m trying to adopt or break in my own life from different angles. - Unf*ck Yourself:
This is another really amazing book. It illustrates how we usually live in our own little mind and let all our fears and doubts take control over our life. This book talks about all those little things that you can do which can help you control your fears and doubts in a much more manageable way. If you struggle to get out of bed in the morning not because you’re disabled but because your own thoughts are keeping you down, try this. It won’t help everyone, but it helped me. - 7 spiritual laws of success:
It is a really short book. If you are a person who reads fast, you can finish this in maybe 1 or 2 sittings. But content wise, this book is pure gold. As name suggests, this book talks about 7 spiritual laws of success. It presents everything in such a concise and beautiful way. I learned a lot from this book about Law of detachment. Since 2016, I have been obsessed about Law of Attraction but this book also talks about how you also need to be detached from your end goals. I will definitely suggest this book. - Ikigai:
I have been wanting to read this book from a long time but finally I read it this year. It is an amazing book and talks about how purpose is the most important thing of your life. And how if you are following a purpose in your life, there will not be a single day in your life when you will be unhappy. It primarily talks about why there are so many people in Japan who live a very long life and what are the lifestyle changes they have in their life which leads them to have this long fulfilled life.
